I really...struggled to get Rong Tian's hair right...it's the color palette and style very frustrating =_______________= F@$R@#$@#.

I have a lot of trouble with their hair colours, too many pictures on the web that have too many varying shades! I'm really struggling with Ruo Yan, because there are even less good references for him >.<
just gonna have to buy the art book!

His hair can be interpreted in many ways, thanks to the fact the author switched artists mid way through the novel series. There's no FYJT centric artbook (sadly), wang yi's artbook covers her works from a period of time.

No bandana, only his banana that looks like his forearm from the distance ...lol =______= I tried to make it a bit pink and veiny but the more I look at it the more it looks like his arm BHSDF!

lol it does look a bit like his arm, but only after a brief glance. my first thought was not an arm btw
